Woodland Hills, CA (March 7, 2026) – At least one individual was hospitalized Thursday evening, March 5, after a two-car collision near Fallbrook Avenue and Oxnard Street in Woodland Hills. The incident was reported around 9:15 p.m. LAPD and LAFD emergency units arrived at the scene. Officials have confirmed that at least one person was injured in the incident and taken to a hospital, but the extent of the injuries remains undisclosed. A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson stated that one crash victim managed to extricate themselves from the wreckage, though it’s unknown if this was the individual hospitalized. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with additional details to be shared as they emerge. Our thoughts are with the injured individual during their treatment. Two-Vehicle Collisions and Emergency Response Considerations. Crashes involving two vehicles frequently occur on city streets, varying from slight dents to severe impacts. Vehicle collisions generate impact forces that can injure drivers and passengers, at times trapping them inside the vehicles. Emergency responders need to rapidly evaluate the scene, deliver medical aid, and securely free any trapped occupants. Even if injuries seem minor, it’s advisable to get a prompt hospital evaluation to rule out any concealed damage, like internal injuries or whiplash.
