Yvette Essakhar is a co-founder and the lead trial attorney at Hillstone Law Accident and Injury Attorneys, where she is dedicated to fiercely advocating for victims of personal injury throughout California. With a deep commitment to achieving justice for her clients, Ms. Essakhar brings a unique and invaluable perspective to her practice, having previously represented insurance companies on the defense side. This experience has equipped her with an insider’s knowledge of the tactics used in personal injury litigation, which she leverages to protect the rights and interests of injured victims.

Ms. Essakhar takes a client-centered approach to her work, tailoring her strategies to the specific needs and goals of each individual client. She is known for her aggressive representation, skillful negotiation, and proven ability to secure favorable outcomes in challenging cases.

Prior to founding Hillstone Law Accident and Injury Attorneys, Ms. Essakhar honed her legal skills as trial counsel at The Kaufman Law Group, where she focused on complex civil litigation, including business and real estate disputes, as well as white-collar criminal defense. Her comprehensive experience spans both civil and criminal law, with notable expertise in state and federal courts. In civil matters, she has successfully represented clients in a wide array of industries, including business, corporate, employment law (including #MeToo and sexual harassment cases), intellectual property, and entertainment. In the criminal arena, Ms. Essakhar has handled high-profile cases involving RICO allegations, public corruption, fraud, and money laundering.

Ms. Essakhar has extensive clinical experience in pre-trial litigation, depositions, and trial preparation, particularly in handling hostile witnesses. She also has a strong international background, having worked at a prestigious anti-terrorism law firm in Tel Aviv, Israel, where she gained valuable experience in global legal issues. Additionally, she has taught legal courses, further enhancing her expertise and understanding of complex legal concepts.

A proud graduate of University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Ms. Essakhar earned her Juris Doctorate and her B.A., Magna Cum Laude from UCLA. She is admitted to practice in all California state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Outside of her legal career, Ms. Essakhar enjoys traveling and scuba diving, reflecting her passion for adventure and exploring new horizons.
