Fresno, CA (March 10, 2026) – A vehicle crashed into an apartment building in northwest Fresno on Monday afternoon, March 9, injuring two people. Emergency units arrived shortly before 1:30 p.m. to the Ashlan Avenue area near Marks Avenue following reports of a collision. Investigators stated that the vehicle collision caused one car to veer off the road and slam into an apartment building’s wall. The car hit a bedroom inside the apartment, damaging an estimated 15 to 20 feet of the wall. A woman was in the unit during the incident but managed to escape unharmed. Two individuals from the crash sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital for care. Officials stated that the two children residing in the apartment were not present during the incident, as they were at school. The crash is still being investigated. Our thoughts are with the injured as they get medical treatment. What Happens When a Vehicle Crashes Into a Building?
