Fullerton, CA (March 10, 2026) – Three individuals were hospitalized following a rollover accident in a Fullerton neighborhood on Sunday evening, March 8. Emergency responders arrived just before 6:30 p.m. to the intersection of Valencia Drive and Courtney Avenue following reports of a serious two-vehicle crash. According to authorities, a pickup truck making a left turn from Courtney Avenue onto Valencia Drive was hit by a dark-colored sedan driving on Valencia Drive. The collision caused the pickup truck to roll onto its side in the road. Two occupants of one vehicle were trapped and required extrication by emergency responders. Paramedics treated three individuals from the crash on-site. All three individuals were taken to nearby hospitals, but authorities did not immediately disclose information on the severity of their injuries. Valencia Drive was shut down in both directions for a while as crews handled the incident and helped those affected. Our thoughts are with the injured, and we wish them a complete recovery. Rollover Crashes on Neighborhood Streets. Streets such as Valencia Drive and Courtney Avenue, which are mixed-use, can feature diverse speeds and types of traffic. In Fullerton, when injury accidents happen, responders frequently modify traffic flows to safeguard drivers and those affected. Rollover crashes occur if one vehicle hits another with sufficient force to disrupt its balance or raise one side off the ground. The angle of impact and the sizes of the vehicles involved can heighten the risk of a vehicle overturning. When a vehicle rolls onto its side or roof, occupants may get trapped inside.
