The reported location was identified as State Route 178 near Poison Canyon. CHP dispatch information did not specify the number or types of vehicles involved.
A later dispatch update at 6:05 a.m. noted that a vehicle had been entered into the agency’s CERT system. The available information did not identify any ambulance, fire department or towing response.
