The event took place shortly after midnight, around 12:06 a.m. Emergency medical services quickly arrived at the location and started assessing the individuals affected by the accident. One person was injured due to the collision. Medical teams offered first aid at the scene and took the injured person to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. The specifics and seriousness of the injuries have not been shared with the public. The accident caused temporary hold-ups on the southbound 101 Freeway and the Wendy Dr exit ramp while emergency responders helped the victims and cleared the road. The total number of vehicles involved and the events that led to the accident are still being investigated. Officials are looking into the reasons for the crash and have not dismissed possibilities like excessive speed or driving under the influence.
