San Francisco, CA (December 21, 2025) – Emergency responders attended a vehicle collision involving injuries in the South of Market area early Sunday morning. The crash took place at approximately 4:31 a.m. At the intersection of S Van Ness Ave and 13th St in PST, the incident triggered a swift response from San Francisco Fire Department, EMS teams, and police. Early accounts indicate at least one person was injured in the collision. Paramedics offered immediate treatment on-site and took the injured individual to a local hospital for additional assessment. The injuries were reported as not life-threatening. Officials have not yet disclosed the number of people involved. The intersection stayed partially obstructed while emergency teams removed debris and carried out an investigation at the scene. Officials have yet to confirm the cause of the crash, although weather and road conditions were reportedly normal at the time.
