Modesto, CA (September 26, 2025) – On Thursday afternoon, a car crash resulting in injuries took place on Highway 99 at the junction of Pallandale Ave and Standiford Ave in Modesto. The accident occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. Stanislaus County Fire units were fully mobilized in response to the situation. Emergency services including Engine 4, Engine 6, Truck 5, and Battalion 1 were sent to the location to help those affected. One person has been reported as injured, but information about the extent of their injuries has not been provided. Emergency responders acted swiftly to evaluate the situation, provide assistance, and control traffic on a heavily trafficked area of the highway. The area situated just north of downtown Modesto experiences significant traffic congestion, especially during the mid-afternoon rush. Officials have yet to reveal the number of vehicles involved or if any tickets were given. Firefighters stayed at the location to make sure all dangers were eliminated and that the road was safe for ongoing traffic.
