(Home Gardens, CA) On Wednesday afternoon, December 10, a pedestrian crossing Magnolia Avenue sustained head trauma after being hit by a vehicle. The incident was reported at approximately 4:22 p.m. At the corner of Magnolia Avenue and Neece Street. According to CHP, a sedan hit the pedestrian while trying to cross Magnolia. Crews from the Corona Fire Department responded to the scene and provided assistance. Paramedics took the victim, who had a head injury, to Riverside Community Hospital. Police held the driver in custody, though it remained uncertain if charges would lead to an arrest. Authorities briefly closed all lanes on Magnolia and reopened them just before 5 p.m. Review of the Magnolia Avenue Accident.
