Hesperia, CA (March 6, 2026) – A 32-year-old woman from Orange County was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident Thursday night, March 5, at the Hesperia Road and Mesa Street intersection in Hesperia, San Bernardino County. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after 8:50 p.m. following reports of a woman lying in the road with severe injuries. Upon arrival, responders found the victim, later identified as Brynn Zoellner of Irvine. Authorities established that Zoellner had been hit by an unidentified vehicle that fled the scene without stopping. She died from her injuries at the scene before additional medical treatment could be administered. Authorities have not disclosed details about the involved vehicle. Further details on the events preceding the crash remain unconfirmed. Officials are still probing the cause, with additional information to be shared as it emerges.
