What are the common risks in urban motorcycle accidents? On busy urban streets like Central Avenue, there’s typically a blend of vehicles in motion, parked automobiles, and traffic making turns. In places like Los Angeles, these conditions can heighten the risk of abrupt confrontations between drivers and motorcyclists. Motorcycles are smaller and often tougher for drivers to spot, particularly in zones with frequent stops and lane changes. Parked cars can also obstruct visibility, hindering drivers’ ability to spot oncoming cyclists. In crashes within crowded city environments, several vehicles or curbside objects might get entangled.
