Blythe, CA (November 25, 2025) – On Tuesday evening, a severe injury was reported after an SUV collided with a semi-truck on the 10 Freeway close to mile marker 116, as stated by the California Highway Patrol. The accident took place at approximately 5:12 p.m. An SUV, for reasons that are still being examined, crashed into a large truck on the highway. The collision made the SUV swerve from the road, leading to considerable destruction and prompting a swift emergency reaction. Paramedics provided assistance to the SUV’s injured passenger promptly. The person sustained severe injuries and was taken to a close-by medical facility. Currently, there have been no other reported injuries. Officials have temporarily closed part of the road to facilitate investigation and cleanup activities. The CHP officials are currently investigating the cause of the crash. Our thoughts are with the person who was injured, and we wish them a complete and swift recovery.
