A fatal accident involving two vehicles occurred in Costa Mesa, California on October 31, 2025, resulting in the death of a 45-year-old man from Los Angeles on Thursday morning. The police reported that the accident took place at approximately 6:25 a.m. At the crossroads of Red Hill Avenue and McCormick Avenue, an accident occurred. The individual involved, Rene Sanchez, was attempting to make a left turn from McCormick Avenue, but his vehicle collided with a car heading north on Red Hill Avenue. The collision resulted in Sanchez being thrown from his vehicle. He was declared dead at the location of the accident. Officials confirmed that the other driver involved stayed at the scene and fully cooperated with the investigation. After the incident, the intersection was shut down for around three hours as teams carried out an investigation and removed debris.
