East Los Angeles, CA (September 27, 2025) – A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital on Friday afternoon following an accident involving a vehicle on Highway 60 in East Los Angeles, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The incident took place around 4:55 p.m. on the eastbound lane of the highway, slightly to the west of the 710 Freeway. According to reports, the motorcyclist collided with the back of a car, with the reasons still being explored. Emergency medical personnel responded promptly and treated the motorcyclist, who was standing but limping following the collision. The motorcyclist was taken to Los Angeles General Medical Center due to a leg injury. The vehicle involved in the accident was damaged, but there were no other reported injuries. Traffic in the vicinity was hindered while officials examined the site and cleared the road. The California Highway Patrol is still looking into the matter to find out the reasons behind the accident.
