Los Angeles, CA (September 15, 2025) – Tragedy struck on Friday night when a man was killed after being hit by two cars, one of which did not stop, in a pedestrian accident on Figueroa St in South Los Angeles, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department. The fatal event took place around 7:35 PM on September 13, just north of 81st St. Authorities indicated that the man was outside a designated crosswalk when he was struck by a silver Toyota Corolla traveling south. The initial collision propelled the pedestrian onto the road. While the driver of the Toyota halted to provide assistance, another car—a blue vehicle going in the same direction—hit the man again as he was lying in the street. The driver failed to stop and fled the scene heading south. Paramedics arrived promptly and took the victim to a local hospital. In spite of attempts to save him, the man was ultimately declared dead. The individual’s identity remains undisclosed while authorities inform their relatives. The LAPD is diligently investigating the hit-and-run incident and is urging anyone with details regarding the other vehicle to step forward.
