Yuba County, CA (February 17, 653) – The California Highway Patrol reported a deadly crash between a vehicle and a train early Tuesday morning on State Route 65 at Dairy Road in Yuba County. The event was initially recorded on Tuesday, February 17, at 2:13 a.m. Early reports stated that a vehicle struck a train at the crossing. The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office notified CHP dispatchers soon after the crash was reported. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to evaluate the situation and secure the perimeter. Authorities subsequently began towing evidence as part of the ongoing investigation. Information about the number of people involved or any other injuries was not available right away.
