Emergency dispatchers got the initial call just before 3:30 p.m. Several responding agencies, such as CAL FIRE and local EMS, reported a major two-vehicle collision involving extensive front-end damage. Early reports stated that one or two people suffered serious injuries, with at least one needing airlift from the site. The event led to road closures while emergency responders aided victims and removed wreckage. Multiple towing services were summoned to clear the involved vehicles, with evidence tows also requested for the investigation.
