A traffic collision was reported at about 2:51 p.m. Nov. 1 on Interstate 15 near mile marker 172.90 in the Barstow California Highway Patrol area. CHP dispatch listed an ambulance as en route to the scene.
The location information placed the incident on Interstate 15 near the mile marker, although the dispatch did not provide a detailed intersection or nearby landmark. It also did not specify the number of vehicles involved or report the condition of anyone at the scene.
A later CHP update at about 3:50 p.m. indicated that towing assistance had been requested for a passenger vehicle. The dispatch did not identify the vehicle’s make, model, color or position on the roadway.
CHP did not provide information about lane closures, traffic backups, the cause of the collision or whether anyone was transported for medical treatment. The available updates documented the ambulance response and subsequent towing request.
