A traffic collision with unknown injuries was reported Nov. 1 on southbound Interstate 15 near the State Route 127 off-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information. The incident was reported at approximately 3:06 p.m. in the Barstow CHP area.
The dispatch location identified the crash on the southbound side of I-15 at the SR-127 off-ramp. CHP did not provide information about the vehicles involved or confirm whether anyone was injured.
A tow truck was requested to respond to the scene. The estimated arrival time provided in a later dispatch update was three to four hours.
The party involved was expected to contact CHP to arrange a traffic break when the tow truck arrived. The dispatch update did not specify the expected duration or extent of any traffic disruption.
