Thousand Oaks, CA (November 30, 2025) – A car accident with injuries occurred on Sunday morning on the southbound lane of US-101 close to The Scales in the Newbury Park district of Thousand Oaks. Emergency teams quickly arrived at the location to offer assistance and direct traffic. The accident happened around 6:08 a.m. Preliminary accounts suggest that an accident occurred, involving multiple vehicles, resulting in injuries to one or more persons. Emergency responders provided aid to injured individuals on site and attempted to evaluate the degree of their injuries. This occurred on a commonly used stretch of roadway during rush hour, leading to momentary traffic delays and a lane closure while the area was cleared. The number of people affected and the seriousness of their injuries have not been revealed by officials at this time. Local authorities are still looking into the cause of the crash.
