Stockton, CA (January 14, 2026) – The California Highway Patrol reports that a pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday evening in the Stockton area. The event took place at approximately 5:25 p.m. On January 13, in the 15200 block of Thornton Road, emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and assessed the injured pedestrian. The person reportedly suffered minor injuries and was anticipated to make a full recovery. It’s unclear if the victim was taken to a hospital or received treatment at the scene. No information has been disclosed about the vehicle involved or the events preceding the crash. Officials are still probing the incident to identify responsibility and underlying causes. We hope the pedestrian enjoys a quick and full recovery from this event.
