San Jose, CA (May 3, 2026) – A fatal multi-vehicle collision in South San Jose on Saturday afternoon killed one woman and injured multiple others. The San Jose Police Department reported the crash around 3:54 p.m. at the crossing of Blossom Hill Road and Santa Teresa Boulevard. Early reports show that several vehicles collided at the busy intersection, causing a chaotic scene. Emergency responders arrived promptly, found multiple injured people, and transported some to nearby hospitals with injuries ranging from minor to serious. Despite attempts to save her life, one woman was declared dead at the scene. Officials shut down the intersection and surrounding roads for hours while investigators examined the crash’s cause and crews cleared the area safely. The deceased woman’s identity is being withheld until her family is notified. The case is still under investigation.
