San Diego, CA (October 23, 2025) – According to reports from San Diego City Police and Fire, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of 40th St and Redwood St, leading to injuries on Wednesday morning. The accident happened around 8:34 a.m. Units from Engine 17, along with other emergency personnel, arrived at the location soon after the incident was reported. At least one individual was injured, although the severity of the injuries is still unverified. Authorities have not provided information regarding how many vehicles were part of the incident or what caused the accident. Traffic in the vicinity was impacted as emergency responders tended to the injured and cleared the area. We wish a speedy and complete recovery to those affected.
