Sacramento, CA (January 6, 2026) – A 41-year-old female cyclist was hurt Monday morning when hit by a car near the Bell Avenue and Raley Boulevard intersection in Sacramento. The crash happened around 8:51 a.m. On the 5th of January. Emergency dispatch audio indicates that the crash involved a black sedan, which was later discovered stopped at the southeast corner of the intersection. Firefighters from Sacramento arrived at the scene and verified that the bicyclist had injuries necessitating transport to a hospital. The injured woman was transported to Mercy General Hospital for additional assessment. The severity of her injuries has not been disclosed yet. Authorities were notified of the incident, but details regarding the driver, vehicle’s registration, or any possible citations remain unconfirmed.
