Wheatland, CA (June 1, 2026) – Two vehicles were involved in a serious traffic collision on Sunday, May 31, near the intersection of Camp Far West Road and Wintun Way in Wheatland. According to dispatch reports, one of the vehicles left the roadway. By the time emergency crews arrived, all occupants were already out of their vehicles. Initial reports described a rollover crash that caused extensive damage to a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. The incident was subsequently classified as a major-injury collision, with five individuals reported injured in the two-vehicle crash. Dispatch records showed that two individuals sustained major injuries, while three others suffered moderate ones. Three patients were transported by ground ambulance, with additional medical transport resources requested. Records indicate that two individuals were taken to Rideout Hospital and three others to Sutter Roseville. A man was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI in relation to the crash. Additional information on the crash, such as the names and ages of those involved, was not released right away. Authorities are still examining the details of the roadway collision.
