Rocklin, CA (March 27, 2026) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on State Route 65 in Rocklin. The crash took place around 7:37 a.m. On March 25 (Wednesday), in the southbound lanes of Route 65 just north of Blue Oaks Blvd. Initial reports show the crash involved a motorcycle, a white pickup truck, and a Nissan Rogue SUV. After the collision, the motorcycle was lying on its right side along the edge of the road. The other vehicles involved reportedly pulled over to the shoulder after the collision. At least one person, believed to be the motorcyclist, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Two off-duty nurses reportedly stopped at the scene to provide aid until emergency services arrived. The response impacted traffic, with two southbound lanes blocked for a time, causing backups in the single remaining open lane amid the morning rush. Riders face greater exposure in collisions without the frame, airbags, and other safety features present in cars.
