Riverside, CA (January 16, 2026) – Injuries occurred in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening near the Alessandro Blvd and Interstate 215 intersection in Riverside. The incident took place at approximately 6:20 p.m. This prompted a response from California Highway Patrol units and paramedics. Upon arrival, responders discovered both vehicles heavily damaged and one person with moderate injuries. Emergency medical personnel offered on-site treatment before taking the injured individual to a nearby hospital for additional care. Several lanes in the vicinity were closed while authorities secured the scene and evaluated the state of both vehicles. Towing services were called in, causing traffic delays to persist for a while amid the response and investigation. Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash. Initial reports have not revealed if speed, distraction, or other factors were involved. Our thoughts are with the individual injured in this incident, and we wish them a quick and complete recovery.
