Redding, CA (March 30, 2026) – Early Monday morning on March 30, a pedestrian sustained serious injuries after a vehicle hit them on State Route 30 near the 7400 block in Redding. The incident was reported at approximately 5:36 a.m. Emergency services arrived at the scene and discovered a red Toyota pickup truck that had collided with a pedestrian. Emergency medical personnel rushed the injured individual to a local hospital as a trauma case. The person’s current condition has not been disclosed. The road was briefly shut down as crews operated at the site. Officials have not confirmed the events leading to the crash or released further information on those involved.
