Palmdale, CA (April 12, 2026) – A major two-vehicle collision involving entrapment and a vehicle fire occurred at the intersection of 70th Street East and Avenue T in Palmdale on Sunday, April 12. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and discovered two involved vehicles, at least one of which was on fire. Early reports stated that two individuals were trapped in the wreckage, leading several units to respond quickly. When crews arrived, they verified the entrapment and called for extra support, such as additional squads and ambulances. Subsequent updates showed that three individuals were involved in the crash. One individual was extracted from the vehicle and transported to a hospital. One other stayed trapped for some time while crews worked to extricate them safely. A third patient, identified as a child, sustained serious injuries, prompting the dispatch of an air ambulance for transport. The complete details surrounding the crash have not been disclosed.
