Orange, CA (January 26, 2026) – Emergency responders attended a traffic crash involving injuries on January 23 in the southbound lanes of CA-55, south of the Route 22 interchange in Orange. The incident was reported around 8:58 a.m. , with a response from Orange Engine One and Truck One. Initial radio communications confirmed that at least one person was injured in the incident. Emergency responders were sent to the site to evaluate those affected, although the severity of injuries and the number of vehicles involved remain unconfirmed. The incident took place on a busy stretch of the highway, causing slight traffic backups as teams aided victims and cleared the area. Officials are still probing the reason behind the crash.
