Oceanside, CA (September 24, 2025) – On Monday evening, a crash involving two vehicles on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 close to Harbor Drive led to injuries and caused traffic slowdowns. The accident happened at approximately 6:24 PM. As stated in reports by the California Highway Patrol’s Border Division, at least one person sustained injuries in the event, prompting a call for medical assistance at the location. One of the drivers involved had a tow truck arranged through AAA, with an estimated arrival time of about 20 minutes. The cars were found just north of Harbor Dr, leading to traffic warnings as emergency responders dealt with the accident and a possible road hazard. Officials verified the incident as an 1181-level event, signifying that minor injuries occurred. The reason for the crash is still being examined, and additional information about the contributing factors or the status of the individuals involved has not yet been shared.
