A traffic collision was reported on northbound Interstate 405 just south of La Tijera Boulevard on September 19, 2026. The incident was classified by the California Highway Patrol as a collision with no reported injuries.
The collision was reported at about 3:35 p.m. in the West Los Angeles area. CHP dispatch information identified a gold Ford Fusion as one of the vehicles involved.
At approximately 3:50 p.m., an involved party told CHP that the driver of the gold Ford Fusion was refusing to exchange information and would not move to the right shoulder. The vehicle was associated with the continuing roadside incident on the northbound freeway.
The dispatch record did not document injuries, ambulance transportation, arrests or a cause for the collision. The available CHP information ended with the report that the involved party was having difficulty moving the vehicle and resolving the incident at the scene.
