A traffic collision was reported on southbound State Route 163 at the 10th Avenue off-ramp on Aug. 26, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash was logged at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the San Diego CHP area. Dispatch information identified the location as the southbound freeway near the 10th Avenue off-ramp.
A follow-up update one minute later placed the collision on the right-hand side of the roadway. The dispatch did not provide additional details about the vehicle or vehicles involved.
CHP’s available information continued to list the incident as a no-injury traffic collision. No further roadway impacts or emergency responses were included in the dispatch update.
