Napa County, CA (March 29, 2026) – A fatal collision involving three vehicles took place on Saturday morning, March 28, on Silverado Trail in Napa County, killing three people and injuring several others severely. The crash occurred shortly before noon, north of Oak Knoll Avenue. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and discovered several vehicles involved, including a Mitsubishi sedan, a BMW, and a Toyota sedan. Authorities reported that the Mitsubishi, heading southbound, sideswiped a northbound BMW before proceeding and colliding head-on with a Toyota behind it. The Mitsubishi’s driver, William Dene Brumley of Vallejo, was transported to a hospital and subsequently moved to another facility. Officials stated he is expected to survive and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. One passenger in the Mitsubishi died at the scene, and another passenger died later at the hospital. The Toyota driver and three passengers were hospitalized with serious injuries, and one rear-seat passenger died later. The BMW’s driver and passenger sustained injuries related to pain. The victims’ identities have not yet been disclosed. The road stayed closed for multiple hours while crews operated at the site.
