A minor-injury collision was reported Aug. 24 on State Route 88 near Plasse Road in the Silver Lake area of California. The incident was recorded at about 9:21 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
The collision occurred along the Amador CHP area of State Route 88. Dispatch information classified the incident as a traffic collision involving minor injuries, but did not provide additional details about the people involved or the vehicles.
By 3:15 p.m., towing assistance was still being provided at the scene. The update indicated that the eastbound lane remained blocked while the response continued.
CHP dispatch did not provide a projected time for reopening the lane or additional information about the circumstances of the collision. The location was identified as State Route 88 at Plasse Road, near Silver Lake.
