Long Beach, CA (October 18, 2025) – On Friday afternoon, a collision involving two vehicles took place at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr Ave and E Anaheim St in Long Beach, resulting in reported injuries. The event was reported around 4:19 PM, prompting a quick response from emergency services. Early reports suggested that a woman in her 50s suffered a serious cut on her left hand. Upon the arrival of paramedics, she was discovered to be awake and breathing at the location while they began to evaluate and address her injuries. While it was first reported as a collision involving two vehicles, officials later indicated that up to four vehicles might have been involved. The congested intersection close to Central Long Beach was partially obstructed as emergency teams provided assistance and officers started their initial inquiries. The level of engagement for each vehicle is still being evaluated, and officials are investigating the sequence of events related to the incident. Observers reported significant damage to at least one vehicle and mentioned the presence of blood at the location. Extra police units were summoned to help because of the intricate nature and potential number of vehicles involved in the incident. The reasons for the collision are still being examined. Authorities have not yet determined if factors such as speeding, distraction, or failure to yield contributed to the incident. We send our best wishes to the injured woman and everyone else impacted by the accident, hoping for a quick and complete recovery.
