A hit-and-run involving two vehicles was reported Aug. 24 near the intersection of 5th Avenue and East 12th Street in California. The incident was reported at approximately 3:41 p.m. outside Lee’s Sandwiches, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
CHP classified the incident as a hit-and-run collision with no reported injuries. The available dispatch information did not identify the vehicles or provide details about how the collision occurred.
A subsequent CHP update at approximately 3:58 p.m. confirmed that two vehicles were involved. The update did not provide additional information about the suspected fleeing vehicle or its direction of travel.
