A hit-and-run collision was reported at about 12:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7, on northbound State Route 99 near the Clinton Avenue off-ramp in California. The location was described as just south of Clinton Avenue.
The incident was initially entered as a traffic collision, with an ambulance response noted in the dispatch information. No injuries were reported in the later classification of the incident.
At approximately 1:26 a.m., the California Highway Patrol updated the call to a hit-and-run collision without injuries. The available dispatch information did not identify the vehicle that left the scene or provide details about the circumstances of the crash.
The CHP dispatch placed the collision in the Fresno area on northbound State Route 99. No additional information about lane closures, vehicle descriptions or a suspect was provided.
