A gray pickup truck collided with the center divider wall on southbound Interstate 405 near Wilshire Boulevard at about 3:49 p.m. Aug. 31, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information. The incident was reported in the West Los Angeles area, and injuries were not immediately known.
The truck was reported to have struck the center divider, with the initial dispatch indicating it might be blocking the freeway’s fast lanes. The report did not specify how many lanes were affected or whether traffic was stopped.
