A collision involving a gray Audi SUV was reported Aug. 29 on northbound Interstate 880 at the Alameda off-ramp near San Jose, California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a minor-injury traffic collision.
The crash location was described as northbound I-880 at the Alameda. Dispatch information identified the Audi as having moderate rear-end damage.
The incident was first recorded at approximately 4:06 p.m. The available CHP information did not specify how many vehicles were involved or provide additional details about the reported injuries.
By about 4:54 p.m., a towing company had been requested to assist with the damaged Audi. No further roadway closures or lane-blockage information was included in the CHP dispatch updates.
