Grant Co., WI (May 11, 2026) – Two people were killed in separate weekend crashes on Grant County roads, one involving a motorcycle and the other a pickup truck that rolled several times after running off the roadway. The first incident occurred Saturday, May 9, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Brouillard Hill Road, to the west of Old Potosi Road, in Potosi Township. Timothy Ravn, a 63-year-old from St. Paul, Minnesota, was traveling west on his motorcycle when it suddenly locked up after he went over the top of a hill. The motorcycle tipped over and slid to a halt. Ravn, clad in a full-face helmet and jacket, sustained serious injuries. A medical evacuation flight was requested, but he passed away before it could arrive. The second crash happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 10. on County Highway A, close to Buckwheat Ridge Road, in Ellenboro Township. A 17-year-old motorist traveling eastbound veered off the side of the road, crossed the centerline, and ended up in a ditch.
