A no-injury traffic collision was reported at the intersection of San Juan Street and North Bonita Street in California at about 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision without reported injuries and assigned it to the El Cajon area.
A later CHP dispatch update indicated that one of the involved parties was disabled following the crash. The update did not provide additional details about the vehicles or explain how the collision occurred.
The disabled party was reported to be arranging towing assistance, with a tow service en route to the location. CHP dispatch did not report an ambulance response, fire department involvement, lane closures or overturned vehicles.
The towing update was recorded at approximately 4:53 p.m., about two dozen minutes after the initial collision report. No injuries were reported in the available CHP information.
