Devore, CA (December 10, 2025) – A man unfortunately lost his life on Tuesday evening due to a rear-end crash between a pickup truck and a stationary box truck on the northbound section of Interstate 15 close to Kenwood Avenue. The accident happened around 2:32 p.m. and triggered a prolonged emergency response and traffic delays. Witnesses stated that the driver of a black 2019 Dodge Ram Big Horn was heading northbound when he came across a white box truck that had stopped completely in the traffic lane for unknown reasons. The driver of the pickup truck failed to apply the brakes promptly and collided with the back of the immobile vehicle. The sole passenger in the Dodge Ram tragically passed away due to the intensity of the crash. His identity has not been disclosed yet as they are waiting to inform his relatives. A Greyhound bus that was trailing closely managed to avoid being part of the accident and stopped safely nearby. The passengers and the bus driver stayed at the location and were unharmed. Several lanes of I-15 were closed for several hours while investigators documented the scene, cleared the debris, and worked to figure out what caused the accident.
