Contra Costa, CA (September 29, 2025) – On Saturday evening, a cyclist sustained injuries after being struck by a white Audi sedan at the intersection of Stone Valley Rd and Valley Oaks Dr. The incident took place at approximately 7:27 p.m. This prompted a swift emergency response from authorities in the Contra Costa area. According to CHP dispatch logs, both the cyclist and the vehicle ended up on the right side of the road after the collision. Emergency personnel arrived and discovered that the cyclist was allegedly experiencing a potential head injury and showing symptoms of disorientation. Emergency medical services arrived at the location soon after, and the event was categorized as an “1181,” indicating injuries that are moderate in severity. The white Audi stayed at the site while the investigation took place, and there were no additional accidents or dangers reported on the road. The name and age of the victim have not been disclosed, and their health status is still unclear. Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the accident, including factors like visibility, driver attention, and if the cyclist was in the appropriate bike lane.
