Chula Vista, CA (December 1, 2025) – A major traffic accident near Clubhouse Drive and Eastlake Parkway triggered an urgent emergency response Sunday afternoon, with fire and medical teams quickly arriving to help those in life-threatening situations. The crash was reported at approximately 12:45 p.m. classified as a “6 Echo” call, the top priority level for medical emergencies that involve serious trauma or breathing difficulties. Fire Department units from Chula Vista, consisting of Engine 58, Medic 57, and Squad 62, arrived at the scene and commenced immediate medical assistance. Officials have corroborated that the collision resulted in considerable force, leading to severe injuries for at least one individual. Emergency responders at the scene administered advanced life support and organized rapid transportation for the severely injured individuals. The intensity of the event resulted in prolonged traffic congestion around Eastlake Parkway. Police helped manage the scene while firefighters evaluated the damage to the vehicles and looked for any further dangers. An investigation has begun to establish the cause of the accident and to see if issues like speeding or driver impairment played a role. Authorities have not disclosed the names of those involved.
