A traffic collision involving a black Honda Civic and a red Ford pickup truck was reported at about 4:48 p.m. Aug. 29 on westbound Whittier Boulevard at South Herbert Avenue in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash location was identified as westbound Whittier Boulevard at Herbert Avenue. Dispatch information indicated that both vehicles were involved in the collision.
CHP later noted that the vehicles were on the right shoulder. The available dispatch record did not indicate that travel lanes were blocked.
The incident was documented by the CHP East Los Angeles area. No injuries or additional emergency response were listed in the dispatch update.
