Bakersfield, CA (January 11, 2026) – A crash involving injuries took place early Friday morning on Rosedale Highway west of Highway 99 in Bakersfield. The crash was reported at approximately 1:30 a.m. On January 10, under the overpass in the westbound lanes. Emergency crews arrived promptly at the scene and aided one person found conscious and breathing after being freed from the crashed vehicle. Medics delivered on-site treatment, with further assessment probably required at a nearby hospital. Tow services were called to clear the damaged vehicle from the scene. Officials have not yet disclosed information on the collision’s cause or the number of vehicles involved. The matter is still being investigated. Our thoughts are with those who were hurt, and we wish them a quick and complete recovery.
