A 30-year-old pedestrian named Aric Verador Mesina lost his life in a collision on the San Bernardino Freeway early on Sunday morning, October 19, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The incident took place at approximately 5:55 a.m. toward the east on the 10 Freeway, slightly to the west of Rosemead Boulevard. Officials from the CHP reported that Mesina was seen walking on the highway. At a certain time, multiple vehicles collided with him while he was on the road. The reason for his presence on the freeway during the accident is still unknown. Traffic authorities shut down multiple lanes for the investigation and reopened the freeway at 9:11 a.m. No further information regarding the drivers or vehicles involved has been provided.
