(Sacramento, CA) On Thursday evening, November 20, six individuals, including two children, were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle accident on Mather Boulevard in east Sacramento. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District reported that emergency responders arrived at the scene around 5:20 p.m. to the region of Mather Boulevard and Arnold Way. Initially, firefighters reported that there were five individuals harmed, but subsequently verified that there were in fact six casualties. Six individuals, comprising of four adults and two children, were injured. All of them were taken to a nearby hospital by paramedics for further assessment and care. Details about the severity of their injuries have not been disclosed. The investigation into the cause of the crash is being conducted by the California Highway Patrol.
