A pedestrian was injured in Canyon Country on Tuesday morning due to a collision on Golden Valley Road, and the individual was taken to the hospital. The accident prompted a rapid reaction from firefighters and deputies in Los Angeles County. It occurred on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at approximately 8:10 a.m. Authorities were informed about a pedestrian being hit close to McKeon Drive on Golden Valley Road. Upon their arrival, firefighters and paramedics discovered an individual on the road displaying obvious injuries. Medical personnel provided treatment to the victim before transporting them to a nearby hospital for additional care. Authorities have not disclosed the name or condition of the pedestrian. Authorities temporarily shut down the area to record the scene and collect accounts from bystanders and the driver involved. Officials state that the investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing. Officials are investigating if factors such as distracted driving, excessive speed, or inadequate visibility played a role in the accident.
